Refilling of the Reservoir Has Begun!

The reservoir above the Black River Falls Dam started refilling on Monday, March 26th, 2012.  The reservoir will continue to be refilled in stages of up to 2.5 feet per day with two 24 hour hold periods to allow for inspections during the process.  Residents and landowners on or near the reservoir are being notified to allow for any final clean-up or changes they would like to make before the refill process is completed.  Recreational users above and below the dam are also asked to be aware of changes in the volume and flow of water.  Please contact Kent Fisher, Operation Superintendent, or Jerry Ewert, General Manager, at 715-284-9463 with any questions regarding the refill process.
